# IHMR - India Health Maintenance Rail > An open research project asking how India could build infrastructure for continuous health > maintenance at population scale, rather than a system that waits for illness and reacts to it. > Everything carries an explicit epistemic status. Most of it is currently hypothesis. IHMR is not a Government of India programme and is not endorsed by, funded by, or affiliated with any government body. It does not publish clinical guidance. Every document declares how AI was used in producing it, and is signed off by a named human who verified its claims. ## Current state - Open questions: 12 - Research published: 1 - Essays published: 0 - RFCs open for comment: 0 - Decisions adopted: 0 - Experiments running: 0 - Last updated: 2026-09-04 ## Reading the statuses hypothesis, evidence, proposal, specification, experiment, decision, superseded.
